At Dear Island Retreats, we partner with artists, illustrators, makers, and creative educators from around the world to create intimate, thoughtfully curated retreat experiences in western Crete. Our role is simple: we take care of everything so you can focus on what you do best: teaching, creating, and connecting with your students.

 

We host retreats for up to 10 participants in a beautiful century-old stone house overlooking the Cretan Sea and the White Mountains. Depending on your teaching style, classes can take place on our spacious sea-view veranda or in the gardens of a nearby farm-to-table restaurant surrounded by olive trees and nature.We provide accommodation, homemade meals prepared with fresh local ingredients, airport transfers, excursions, cultural activities, art materials, and all logistics throughout the retreat.
